Zlev11 : Only the Anglophones changing the sport, hmmmmm. Go back into the history books to see the last GT Winner from a 'Traditional' Cycling Nation.
And no Slovenia nor Colombia are Traditional.
What a Dinosaur you are !
Hello all,
Finally finding some form on the bike this year, rather frustratingly with darkness and winter approaching the UK. i'm considering for the first time a trip abroad with my bike in November-ish time.
If anyone has any advice as to any hotels, routes, etc for the Island of Tenerife...
Questions,
Will Kittel be bringing any riders with him over to Quickstep?, if not what sort of lead out train will he have with Renshaw and Pettachi leaving.
Also does anyone think Cavendish jumped before he was pushed out by Kittel?
Think Renshaw might be struggling for a job, it makes sense for the now Dimension Data to take Eisel rather than Renshaw. Eisel may captain the GT squad and will be an option for the classic. Renshaw is simply a lead out man. I'd predict that Renshaw may be more suited to GreenEdge leading out...
Strange sign of the times I guess, in the Sean Yates and Robert Millar era English wasn't spoken at all in the peloton. I imagine that to some extents its important to, though I agree that MTN are probably going to lose out on some big names due to the this.
