    Andy Schleck Discussion thread.

I don't think the reason why Trek won't sign Frank is because of his salary. It's almost certainly due to his doping ban. I can see two possible options for the Schlecks: either stay at Trek or move. What happens almost certainly depends on Andy's result at the TDF. If he want's his "champions"...

Poll: Where will Richie Porte finish on GC?

I can't see any possible placing except outside top 10. On the final climb, it'll be just him and froome isolated (having several sky riders injured doesn't help) so he'll have his work cut out for him chasing down attacks from all the gc riders; he'll eventually crack after the colossal effort...

    Andy Schleck Discussion thread.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that he's back to his old form, but the signs are promising and he's showing potential :D. Especially he can now actually keep comfortably in the peleton.

2013 Tour de France, Stage 4: Nice / Nice 25km (TTT)

When i saw the results for today I was afraid to look because Sky could have won. But Greenedge won awesome! :D When i found out I was both grinning and laughing due to their earlier bus exploits. All that talk of Sky destroying the competition amounted to nothing and made those who said it...

Teams & Riders Chris Froome Discussion Thread.

Yes well I'd be irritated if my own domestique tried to undermine my position in yellow by attacking, so that's ok, especially understandable given Wiggin's personality. Yes point taken about getting dropped and picking and choosing. However for me Wiggin's was at a very good form - he would've...

Teams & Riders Chris Froome Discussion Thread.

To assert his positon Froome thought demoting Wiggins was neccessary. Maybe from my viewpoint it wasn't, but from his it was. Ok how do you know Wiggins didn't prepare well for the Giro and was whining?? I'm not saying you're wrong btw. Not sure whether Nibali would've attacked more, maybe...

    Andy Schleck Discussion thread.

How? we all know Froome didn't want Wiggin's in a similar leadership position at Sky as Wiggins could've threatened his leadership position. Yes Wiggins certainly was unlucky at the Giro, but he didn't deserve the result he got. Your attitude appears similar to the Italians, who were cheering...

Teams & Riders Alberto Contador Discussion Thread

Yes agreed. For me Froome has the most to lose. I'm not full I'm just saying what is true. The only thing to really compare Froome's form is Wiggin's last year imo it does give a realistic prediction. Both followed exactly the same build up and approach so it's highly possible that Froome's form...

    Andy Schleck Discussion thread.

Well some of that attitude rubbed off onto Froome imo. He pretty much kicked Wiggins from first equal in the Sky leadership, to fourth in a brutal coup. Now Wiggin's is a broken man  and may not do another GT ever. Not a Wiggin's fan but you can't help but feel sorry for him. Hopefully...

Teams & Riders Alberto Contador Discussion Thread

Yeah I strongly think Froome will win the hilly ITT, TTT and may win AX-3, but only if Sky change their tactics to allow him to attack earlier (Brailsford said they aren't changing their tactics however). Actually the fact that he has veins indicates muscle, possibly unnecessary muscle...

Too lazy. Can't someone explain in a few sentences?? :)

Teams & Riders Alberto Contador Discussion Thread

So far Froome's maximum capabilities were shown when he attacked Cobo on Pena Cabarga with 1800VAM and only 6.4w/kg at the 2011 Vuelta. Given Sky have said that their tactics will not change, there's only one stage that will suit Froome's tactic of a final km attack, and even then if he left it...

Teams & Riders Alberto Contador Discussion Thread

Yeah totally agree, especially about that last bit :p Contador isn't ruling out an alliance with the Spaniards, so it's likely: "but there may well be circumstances when riders’ objectives do overlap." Their goals of podium and Contador's goal of winning are compatible and both ultimately need...
