Thanks for the clarification. It is becoming more difficult to follow sport, not just cycling, because of media companies buying up sporting rights just to make money. Most have no interest in promoting sport in general or a specific sport. Its sad when true sports fans cannot watch sport...

Nice to have a new race - totally different environment to any other race. Makes a change from the multitude of races from the low countries/France etc. I can't think of another race with so many bridges, and a tunnel under the sea I agree a hilly stage would be a good addition. Hopefully...

Totally agree with you Galic Ho. Sadly even if the medals are tarnished, the individuals will have been able to profit from them, while the true winners will have lost out big time

Watching the race yesterday not only reminded me of Kittel's tweet but the Eurosport commentators, who where as bad if not worse than Kittel, with their accusations at the Tour of Turkey. And look at the reaction of the same commentators yesterday.....

Totally agree. I read this thread before seeing the race on the highlights and even then I was surprised at how the race went. Difficult to say anything about the stage not clinic related. Why is it still the Sticky thread for the TDF?
