His performance in Tour 24 was exceptional. Was it a crazy career peak or did something change after that? -

The problem is that he is able to do that only if he loses a lot of time and is no longer relevant in the race.

Any agreements (if there were made) don't change the fact that Ayuso is a selfish rider. His riding in the Vuelta 2025 was a disgrace.

Of course not. However other than 2024 (where he wanted to ride the Tour through choice) in which year was he not allowed to lead a GT.
