    Wookies on bikes

Had an electrocardiogram effort test last week, the doctor whipped out an electric razor and got two large tuffs off my chest. Worried he was going to do my back, but he didn’t have to stick many contacts back there. Had about 8 of the things on my chest.

    Hard Tail vs. Full-Spension

Ran into (karma) an S Works 25 year stumpjumper FSR carbon. Ok I ride Spi Roubaix 2007 elite and a Time RXS Vibraser on the Road. My Mountain bike is a Cannondale F2 Caffeine. The Stumpy is so much better. I ride in the south of France and it more small stones than under woods single. The brain...

    Foot numbness - need advice

Try using foot cream, especially if you wear synthetic socks. I find that the sock tends to stick to the foot causing tension.

    Mountain bike tire recommendations

I run pro race 3 on my road bikes. Spi Roubaix and Time VXS. And I run a Larssen TT back and Nobby Nic front on my mountain bike. You can take out a Pro Race with a side wall cut. Always have a small section of tyre in your repair kit.

Fignon's claims about the legality of Lemond's 1989 aero bars

I remember them riding with this set up in the Grand prix d nations in Cannes. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/photos/laurent-fignon-remembered/138391 Unsafe as the rotation of the fork was restricted.

    Mountain bike tire recommendations

Try a Maxxis Larsen tt on the back. I run one with a Nobby nick on the front in the South of France. Lots of rock and lose gravel. But I use Stans.

    Shoe choices

I believe that your foot swells a bit as you get hot. In the 80s I had a pair of the first Look clip less pedals with the cleat fitted to my Addidas Eddy Mercks shoes, (they had to drill the holes). The thing was to not lace them to tight. Or not tighter than I would before using the toe clip...

    82nd Giro del Veneto (1.1) Padova - Castelfranco (198,0 k) August, 28 !

It was realy bad, the rain had just started so all the diesel and oil was coming up. The team cars were sliding around. One rider went down after the finish line. Good video. Suprised the camera was still working as it was only coverd by a cheap plastic tarp. (The woven ones with blue on...

    82nd Giro del Veneto (1.1) Padova - Castelfranco (198,0 k) August, 28 !

Prosecco ride really nice. Had a look the first two laps in Montebelluna three came through first on the first lap after I couldn’t figure out what was going on. The peloton fly’s past like an express train. Continued on down to Castelfranco to see the finish, they came through and I think Balan...

    'are you running sealant?'

I run a Nobby Nic on the front with a Larsen TT Exception on the rear. Mavic 819 rims with Stans. Larsens a bit tricky to get on, best with a compressor. have done it with a floor pump but its a bit of a sprint. They both lose a bit of air over time so I check before riding. 1.8 bar front and 2...

wave goodbye to LA on sunday

Jimmy Buffet sang, “Where it all ends I cannot fathom my friends, if I knew I might toss out my anchor “. His cancer fund thing is apparently doing well. Give him a break or do it yourself. Only post against him if you have ridden the Tour d France. The controls now in place catch dopers...
