    2015 Eneco Tour (2.WT), Aug 10 - 16th

Yes,quite. One or two posters conspicious by their absence. :)

    2015 Eneco Tour (2.WT), Aug 10 - 16th

My interpretation of Boonen's comments pre Eneco were that he wanted a stage win for his confidence before the Worlds, higher class field than recent races he's won at.If there's any risk involved in the sprint he will back off,its not a secret he feels this way,its a matter of record for the...

    Eurosport commentary

Liggett is dreadful, his defence of LA when it was obvious to everyone bar him that he was guilty was a shocking error of judgement for someone who has been involved in cycling all his life,it should have procluded him from any further work commentating IMO. To call it a "witchhunt" against LA...

    2015 Eneco Tour (2.WT), Aug 10 - 16th

Re: Boonen by his own admission has never felt comfortable in large bunch sprints since Suisse 2010 crash with Cav/Haussler.Doesn't mean he can't win an odd one but not really his thing these days which is understandable.

Is it nowadays possible to win all 5 monuments?

Would seriously doubt its even possible. Gilbert out of everyone stood the best chance but even then i don't think he could win Roubaix.

    Clasica San Sebastián 1/8 -- 219km

Valverde and Gilbert spring to mind here, both former winners and both in form. I like this race too,was there when Gallopin won,San Sebastian is uber cool.

Who's the best American rider for 2015?

Tejay will hopefully do well at Vuelta so got my vote. Talansky after last year's TDF i hoped would do something amazing this year even if only a stage win but that didn't work out obviously although came mighty close at Pra Loup.

    Gesink Discussion Thread

Re: Immediately after Le Tour i thought exactly this. What does his CV show, excellent stage racer for GC,Oman winner,TOC winner,2nd in Tirreno after Evans, two nice top 10's at TDF,is he ever likely to win a GT,probably not barring some strange circumstances so far better as he gets towards...

Hi Dekker Tifosi. I've been looking closely at Gesink's palmares today, what do you think will be both his own and his team's expectations over the next three years?

    Transfers and Rumours 2015 > 2016

Re: That's how i took his comments too,he was kinda saying look what a strong team they are and next year with Landa and Kwiatek added.

Rate the 2015 Tour de France !

Underwhelming GT. Think the Giro was so good that Le Tour was up against it from the off but it still disappointed. Felt genuine enjoyment watching one or two stages but overall it was a mediocre race,GC over after first week and IMO some of the stages lacked imagination.
