Alex Aranburu was a DNF at The Valli Verasine and a DNF a Milano Torino. Not sure what's going on there.

Makes him doubtful for a 4 star rating though to me.

Also thought this edition was flat enough for Consonni to be lead out for Viviani too?

Flat race today, crazy difficult up and down profile in 2020, Oropa finish in 2019, pancake flat in 2018. The race really seems to aim for as diverse a winner's list as possible.

Cofidis and Qhubeka doing all the pulling for Viviani and Nizzolo so far.

Gap nice and manageable at just under a minute.

Yeah, don't take the ratings seriously, I picked names semi-randomly.

Leveau, Carisey, Gallopin, Bassett and Ruiz attacked on côte de Jars, Le Gac, Madouas, Riou countered later on côte du Graveron.

If you're taking about Gran Piemonte, I'm not sure.

Last year's edition was a good parcours that provided an exciting finish.
Yes sorry its Gran Piemonte. A race in Piemonte and you can't find some decent climbs and descent???? Last year race was good.

Did you all lose some bets or what is this?

Haven't you heard about the Gran Piemonte-Paris-Gien-Bourges? You get two races for the price of one.

DUDE, YOU HAVE TO USE THE COLOURS! (I've decided that black is the colour for OT posts)

Catch made a bit early. Still 27km to go.

Suppose there's enough teams set on a sprint that no late attacks are likely to stick anyway.

No danger of drafting in Paris-Bourges. Can just about spot some riders about 300 yds behind the camera bike but absolutely no idea what is going on

What is happening here? Is that gonna be the new thing? Create shared threads when there are multipe (lesser) one-day races the same day, colour-code it, and then have everyone ignore the colour-coding?
