Harmon is a grade A tosser, talks up the riders he represents and the brands he scrounges from or 'rides' for! Slags off riders he doesn't like and the brands that have shunned him. Asked Sky for some work at the start of the season and got knocked back so then went on to criticise them.

Talked and trained all year about 'setting' some tandem records and couldn't even finish the first attempt. The guy is a disgrace.

He shoots from the hip and says stuff but he can back it up most of the time and thats what counts. He might be misunderstood but I dont have a problem with people that cant stand the sight of him, maybe If he were an Aussie or an American acting like that then i would probably think the guy a **** also, who knows.
But the man is totaly honest so you cant ask for anymore.

Right on. If he does what he says he's gonna do it's not bragging, it's predicting.

There is a purity to Cav, he's still that innocent little kid riding his bike and long may that continue too.
You may not like the strops he has but for sure they are him and him alone and I'm glad of that.

Harmon on the other hand is a contrived mess. Although I love Eurosports coverage and Harmons chit chats with Sean, you are right about the fact that he talks a lot about his fave riders, the very short Vino LBL clip was a travisty and so too the Stage win missive. He's just not impartial enough..However they did give this years Giro a "big me up" and of course the strade got center stage, as it should.

Harmoan? Fell out with some of the old Eurosport crowd due to his endless fawning over the announced return of Pharmstrong, during the 2008 Vuelta.
Turned up on their new site to argue the toss, but some thought it was a wind up, until he mentioned the "difference of opinion" on air...........several times.

I know he was in a twitter war with a member here, over his constant sniping at the returning Vino. Previously, he had clearly been a fan.

Cuddles? Eurosport's Golden Child. Old Duffers first tipped him for Tour success, back in 2006.

DH has a man crush for Mr BMC, second only to a certain Australian lad.
Hence the only and amazing outburst at "JC" for Eurosport cutting away early from the Mendrisio road race, before Cuddles had cried me a river, on the podium.
Normally, he would toe the party line about other live sports being more popular, so tough shiite for not showing cycling.

..........having said all of that, I think he does a pretty fine job of catering for all tastes and all levels of cycling knowledge. Tough to get the balance right, all of the time.

Could be worse, it could be David Duffield still commentating. I was watching MSR 2007 earlier today and it was god awful
