Meanwhile, I was trying my best to remember who had won this race in 2020...
Here's the irrefutable proof of Nibalis sprinting cred

Yes, I was half-joking about the fact that there wasn't a real edition in 2020. But I was lucky enough to witness Rog's winning sprint in Varese in 2019, so I remember that one quite well.It was merged with Bernocchi and Agostoni and was called the Gran Trittico Lombardo. Gorka Izagirre won but there was torrential rain which meant they could only show footage from the fixed cameras which was especially frustrating given that it was one of the very first races after the Covid break.

Same. I could tell them where we went in a heartbeat whereas the rest of my family always are in complete shambles and messes all the years and destinations up - and its most likely because of the Tour de France.Well, with all this watching cycling, I would just be wasting my time if I forgot it all again
I dunno, I have quite a good memory, especially when it comes to cycling.
My family always ask me which year we went somewhere on holiday because they know I can remember it because of what was going on in the Tour (or other races) at the time we were there.
My summers as a kid - not that long ago - was mostly spent camping out on/near some airfields in Sweden while my dad was skydiving.

Ah, that's where you got your skydiving experience from!
I bet she was mischievously putting shots after him!
What was the reason Valverde DNFed? Pcs had him starting in a few other races before today, but now his calender is completely empty.
Back on the startlist for MT tomorrow.
I'm not sure why he was a DNF today. Perhaps just the weather?
Only 41 finishers today as well.
