If this comes down to a sprint I put my money on Consonni. The guy is actually competitive against top tier sprinters after a hard race on hilly terrain.

But why isn't Cofidis chasing tho. You have one of the favorites in this situation...

just to clear this up: before today's race, Consonni said that he was feeling really good during Bernocchi, but had a mechanical at a bad moment and waited two minutes for the car, meaning his race was over.
