Nice replay of Nibali attacking there, interesting that Gilbert followed for a while and then shut it off. Would have gone way into the red if he tried to hold.

Their future best friend Phil asked them nicely I guess

Well the next few days he's going to be in Lombardy as BMC is having team meetings for next year to organise schedules.

Because they are a team that doesn't sit at the back and do nothing like Rabobank atm. They try and BMC and I believe that GVA and Santa can do the job.

Don't troll, you know as well as I do who they're riding for.

a peloton of 30+ vs 1 guy on the flat, and you can't see 1 minute in 25km.

Well, it's a new perspective, I'll give you that.

Clearly the best guy of the race, which is a big difference. And the peloton is not working together, Gilbert felt he didn't have the legs before and there are no teams with more than 2 capable guys it seems.

Txurruka is back too, means they will try very hard but just not succeed.

Yeah I will give you that, they have been pretty attacking this year. I just don't think GVA or Santa can win against this sort of competition happy to be proven wrong though

Kind of funny the difference of reaction. When Cancellara did this in Ronde everyone cried about how boring it was, even though he pulled a rival for 50km.

But when Nibali does it at Lombardia its the most interesting thing possible.

wow nibali dropped gilbert fairly easely . . .
Nah, they only replayed Nibali's last attack. He had been trying to drop Gilbert for a while by then.

Anyway, he's lost +25" and the flat hasn't even started yet :(

I was thinking of how I could relate this to the reaction to Cancellara but I think you've done it well enough.

But if it was Phil soloing this I think he'd get the same reaction as Fabian, that's what happens when you're so dominant.
