New question - how long will it take the peloton to drop Nibali. Will he reach the base of the climb?

And how much did his misadventures take out of Gilbert?

I've spent the last 30 minutes dealing with people who forgot everything they knew about cycling in their desperation to believe a retardo attack was going to succeed.

I should probably stop talking about cycling for a while, but he looked spent on the Ghisallo. Would surprise me to say the least.

Its steep so Anton should be up there too. But then there is that steep descent too. Lets just see and enjoy.

Basso has been at the front the whole time though, if he wasn't up for this he would have dropped. Bring out the diesel on the last climb!

I know it happens, I just didn't want it to happen. :(
