I started drafting a message to say I thought that with WVA/MVDP that someone would try something ridiculous that derails the whole race but then work got in the way and by the time I came back it turns out WVA might not race at all so I guess there's the ridiculous already and in the worst kind of way :(

If WVA doesn't feel well (and is unlikely to take part) this changes the dynamics of the race a lot: JV has a great team but without an in-form Wout it won't be the same (and less cards to play). MVP should be #1 favourite but there are other strong guys who will make the race hard for him. I definitely expect Pogacar to be among those fighting for victory - if he's well positioned this time he can do the damage there for sure.

Another epic 100km attack incoming from the pre-race favorites. MVDP needs to shed some dead weight (namely JV's entourage) early. This will be the best race of the year.
And Pogacar will win.
If I was Jumbo Visma DS for the day I would be instructing Teunisson and Roosen to do everything they can to get in the break of the day and get satellite riders up the road.

Edit - had not seen the WVA status when I wrote this
