Cance just told them to fvck off!! and he's right

Wny, Van Summeren is strong enough to win this race for Garmin. Why should they do anything for Canc. Canc left a team that was strong enough in the classics to win to go to a glamor team that is sh!t for classics riders. Sucks for him.

If I was Cancellara I'd tell this to Hushovd:

Well, Vansummeren will have to win then, but it surely won't be your sorry world champion ***.

Exactly. Cycling is a team sport, but only up to a point...

There's 30Km to go.

Fabian can close the gap in 7 to 8 Km on his own when he wants - but why drag Thor to his teammates in the process?

I agree with this.

Cance knows he can bridge the gap and outride the front guys .... if Thor and Ballan want to go with him, they have to help.

If not, he will do it on his own - but not drag them with him.

He will go again ...

I think we need a cycling tactics 101 class here.

If you have riders in the front group because your team is strong enough to have riders in the front group, and the team of the favorite doesn't have any riders in the front group because the rest of them are already riding in a car, you don''t pull. Canc has turned off the gas because his team isn't strong enough to help him win.

Canc throwing a fit. What a baby. Well, he isn't going to win because he didn't have a strong enough team to win, and he doesn't have a motor in his seat tube this year. Sucks for him

I agree but this could completely backfire. Garmin's best hope for a victory is Thor. If they come out of this with nothing they're going to look really bad.

If there is a god of cycling...Canc will not win.

But hey, what about that Veilleux? That kid is something special....or is taking something special...whatever, he's having a wicked ride....

Well hushovd and ballan have team mates upfront it's normal for them to not want to chase, but it would be pretty stupid of cancellara to drag two good riders up to their team mates after all the attacks, he would be killing himself, fair enough he says he won't do anything :S.

I think we all get that, no need to be a know it all smart ****.

The point I was getting at is that I don't want them to win if they do NO work, their tactics are perfect and I applaud them but at this point ballan and hushovd don't deserve to win baecause they haven't done anything themselves

On paper he has at least 3 riders who should be able to do better but have failed to perform on the cobbles this year

Bak seems to be the strongest, how much energy is he using though?

Pity P&P are obsessed with Cooke (will be funny if he wins).

Do all the team bosses dare to put their money on the guys up front...

but who is crazy enough to take Hushovd with them...
