I don't think Bak will be spectacular. Somewhere 10-35, maybe doing a bit of work if required for Eisel. Eisel should top15.

Goss is a wildcard. He was sick in the lead in to Flanders and the race didn't treat him well. He should be stronger here but I don't think he's in MS-R form. If he was a top10 would not be a surprise. He will be top 30 or DNF.

PR there is no following your way to a top ten, you gotta be a specialist on this terrain to do well here.

KBK, the race after omloop; which is generally raced harder/harder parcours.
Has what 40, 50, 60km? to the end without cobbles.
Please show me a result he has on one of the tougher races (Omloop, e3, dvv PR), and not just a bunch sprint.

I guarantee Goss will be a no show tomorrow

2008 Kuurne was harder than Volk. It was almost as hard as 2010, with regards to the weather. Just have a look at the field and the gaps, there (no bunch sprint at all !). I remember it very well.

At least it's already a better indication than your Wevelgem.

And anyway, as you and I have argued on other threads, Flanders' cobbes are cakewalks compared to Roubaix. So it's no use searching for results in Flanders. No one knows how far he can go.

yeah but kuurne weather doesn't really indicate cobble potential, i mean it just a whole different race scenario. Good stuff to watch, but yeah I can't relate it to PR.

I was on steephill.tv and looks like most is geo-restricted, but I'm pretty sure there must be something available. We usually can get a sporza or rai feed, but who has updated info?

I think he might finish but I don't think he will be a factor in this race at all, I don't understand why s many people always talk about him when it comes to these races, eurosport always say if cavendish is there at the end and you have ligget(I think it was him) saying the same thing, and I once read an article saying cavendish would win the paris roubaix if he wanted to and he would be world champion. I think he has a chance at the world championship with a favourable course but I don't see him as a contendor for the classics he isn't so young anymore, I know he isn't old but I wouldn't class him as a youngster anymore and at this age boonen did the flanders roubaix double and went on to win the world championship.....

In my opinion cavendish is a sprinter, a very good sprinter but only a sprinter...


anyway i hope pozatto wins it, but I think he has a new attitude brought on by the recent critism that will hurt his chances and he will be lucky to get a top 20 :S

I really wouldn't worry about it. There will be plenty options tomorrow, I'm sure. There will certainly be a Eurosport feed link on steephill, cyclingfans, or procyclinglive.

Gusev as another outside guy for the top 5-10. So what do you guys think about the Gorilla? Will he be visible or even finish?
