Think the group is to small to hold on. They have 40" now. LTS and QS not having good guys in there is not good for the break.

If it was always raced like this Kittel, aka Scheldemerckx, wouldn't have won this race 5 times...

Alpecin captains and Bora against QS. Normally, I would cheer for the breakaway. But if they get caught, I hope Jakobsen wins the final sprint (beating Dylan by five bike lengths)…

It's funny, I had been uneasy about using the tunnel at the start of this race in fantasy designs, unaware of it's actual usage.

last reported gap was 45s for G2, another half a minute for the peloton. So if they merge, and teams like Quickstep, Greenedge, DSM, Lotto (they only have Selig in front) work together, they could still have a chance.

Gap increased to 48 seconds apparently. Unless group 2 is getting extra horsepower I think this is for the guys upfront.

The 1'16 is from 45 minutes ago, no way that's still somewhat correct.

If QS is not able to close the gap, and finishes with their best rider in second group, I fear that this evening, the heads of Lefevere and Peeters will become darker than dark red.

They're both fast. Welsford is technically the pro (Van Uden is still a development rider) so yeah maybe.
