Sad puncture for Frison. Those three deserved the podium. And Bonnamour would've been a really nice winner after his excellent season.

I expected it to be better than Lombardia and at least for me it certainly delivered. I don't really know what FDJ were doing. i guess Demare may thank Stuyven and Frison's puncture for this win. Also Bonnamour with impressive sprint for a more climby ruleur guy.

Disaster for DSM after the team they brought here.

Not a single rider in the top 35 o_O

Casper Pedersen was really angry at the team in the danish interview afterwards, saying they ordered him to ride as helper and use all his power in the echellons before TV started as a punishment for a bad Paris-Roubaix, which he felt was really unfair and stupid, as the races were not comparable, and also blaming Cees Bol for attacking when he was supposed to be the sprinter. Sounded a lot like yet another rider could end up leaving the team even if it was in the heat of the moment.

Thanks for the info. Very interesting.

They've really not had a great season. Especially in the wake of their stand out performances at least season's TdF.

Yep, agreed. When I heard him say, that the team often have "funny ideas" like that punishment I thought he could be on the way out, too.

Otherwise, I would think he faces some more punishment.

What a great race to (almost) finish the season on. So good, I was actually rooting for Demare in the sprint. Great attacking ride by him.

Has a contract for next year with them by the looks of it.

So, apparently there were multipe Paris-Tours-ish races being held.

So, we got the full elite podium, + Hvideberg, + some other random people.

And they've got nice fallen leaves as medals.

They deserve to nick the symbolism after yesterday's anti climax!
