What happened to Froome - he was with the front group on last shot before they followed O'Connor in but I didn't see him cross the line and he wasn't in classified top 10.

Froome's lieutenants drop like flies on Astana's pace in the chase.

That will magically no longer be the case come Giro and Tour time.

Nice stage, a pity for Sosa though.

The attackers did 1-2-3 today, that's great to see them rewarded.

Pinot series in Trentin (including last year) : 3-2-5-2-1-4-2-2 and now first in classification. That's is race for sure. :)

I was confused as well, especially as he didn't show up in the provisional top 10 of the stage result. Seeing it on PCS now, it has been corrected.

Ben O'Connor is progressing very well - He's a talented climber and I expect him to win a WT stage race in the next 2 or 3 years - Strange tactics by Astana today, though they seem to have an inform team for the Giro - Expect a different Giro as they will ride a strong tempo on each climb on multi-mountain stages, compared to the Sky tactic of soft pedalling until they arrive at the final climb.

Ben O’Connor is continuing his Zubeldia like form from Catalunya and Pais Vasco. 8th today and now 15th overall, while barely being seen.

Not bad for someone who recently turned 22.
Now not Zubeldia like anymore.
