Came across this two-part documentary on the 1962 TdF and thought some of you might be interested. The raids were cool, particularly thought it was funny that the business owners would then charge the TdF owners, sounds of local races that you rarely hear on TV broadcasts of GTs nowdays (crashes and the squeel of brakes), and doping even raises its ugly head back in 1962 (but still thought this thread belonged here rather than in the Clinic).

"doping just dulls the pain"

Really great. We need to bring back the bottle cage on the front of the bike. The musette was and is always needed if not by the racers by the fans carrying a few drinks and snacks. Also cool to see how the hairnet was the next evolution in bicycle safety. I love wool.
