HTC, Sky and Milram driving the peloton according to the ticker. EBH probably feels good then. HTC riding for Velits or Monfort perhaps? And Milram for Ciolek.
TRDean said:Not quite...but really...is there anything wrong with rooting for Skil? At least I am not obnoxious??
Moondance said:Not obnoxious... But obsessed.
Tell me, how did you come to this great love of yours, Skil-Shimano?
Reverend_T_Preedy said:No live feed I gather but there are highlights on German TV. Expect Team Sky fans to have them on the website later today/tomorrow.
TRDean said:I raced in the Netherlands in the late 80s. I lived with Leo Peelen...who is the cousin to Kenny van Hummel. I used to play soccer with Kenny and hang out with him when he was a young boy. I am still very close to the Peelen and van Hummel families...and I am very excited for Kenny to race well. That is my story...nothing more, nothing less...
Moondance said:Okay. It's a nice story.
Certainly better than the base nationalism that fuels most of our fan boy-ism.
TRDean said:Thanks...I am American...but don't really follow cyclists based on nationality. I did come to respect the Dutch and Belgian riders in my time there...and seem to pull for them more often than not...
I will try to keep my fanboy-ism in check...
