HTC, Sky and Milram driving the peloton according to the ticker. EBH probably feels good then. HTC riding for Velits or Monfort perhaps? And Milram for Ciolek.

Not obnoxious... But obsessed.

Tell me, how did you come to this great love of yours, Skil-Shimano?

I raced in the Netherlands in the late 80s. I lived with Leo Peelen...who is the cousin to Kenny van Hummel. I used to play soccer with Kenny and hang out with him when he was a young boy. I am still very close to the Peelen and van Hummel families...and I am very excited for Kenny to race well. That is my story...nothing more, nothing less...

Okay. It's a nice story.

Certainly better than the base nationalism that fuels most of our fan boy-ism.

Thanks...I am American...but don't really follow cyclists based on nationality. I did come to respect the Dutch and Belgian riders in my time there...and seem to pull for them more often than not...

I will try to keep my fanboy-ism in check...

No need for that. Being a fanboy is perfectly alright. In fact (as in the case of ACF) it is only funny and entertaining.

Was just wondering why you were so rabidly in the Skil camp, since I already knew you weren't Dutch, and now I have my answer. That's all. :)

I really want to see the video of this finish now, I can't remember the last time two Euskatels were on the podium at the end of a flat stage.

- It was nice to race again. It felt quite good. I hope it's good in the morning when I wake up and that there is nothing wrong with the achilles, said Boasson Hagen to TV 2 Sport.

Neither Kurt Asle Arvesen (34), who has been receiving treatment for knee problems, noticed any pain in the leg.

- It was really hard, but it went better than I imagined. I sat with the first group over the mountain, but it was a bit tough towards the end. I could ride as I wanted, but I was trying not to take it all out in the final round. There are more days to come, "said Arvesen to TV 2 Sport.

If you're keeping score at home its their second sprint victory of the year.

First sprint win outside the Iberian peninsula since 2008

EE winning a sprint stage with someone other than Koldo is what's most surprising.

And Koldo Fernandez was actually in the race, according to the startlist, at least. I haven't seen it; was it a standard bunch sprint? Not two euskaltel riders leading out koldo and everyone crashing behind them or anything?

According to Perez Fernandez was not feeling well. And as we know Euskaltel is full of top class sprinters so the backup ones did a 1-3

Interesting to see the amount of different stage winners of Euskaltel this year. It is some years ago so much different guys actually scored a victory.
