Lol at ACF complaining about the Eurosport commentators being too critical of Evans. Usually they're a bunch of sycophants, Harmon in particular makes no effort to hide his man-love.

And the guy who said it - Kirby is such an Evans fanboy i seriously considered he might be ACF himself.

The comment as winterfold points out was actually full of praise for Evans.

today in the stage to lyon pinot lost 5'50''-
when the group splitted , he was alone in the back of the peloton
as i told you before he is very weak downhill and he does not know how to place himself in the peloton.
he always runs in the last part of the peloton, because he is afraid and he cannot
file ( limare in italian, frotter in french, how to ride in the peloton).
fdj let him alone in the back, no rider protecting him and trying to teach him how to do (all the other riders of fdj were in the first group and he was supposed to be the protected ridr....)

so many people just consider fdj not the right place where a young climber like pinot can learn and progress.
too bad programme of races, nobody caring about him, madiot just considering puncheur in the hope of winning some races and not interested in a rider that has a profile that can be defined giro-oriented ( he likes long and steep climbs).

imho, pinot has talent ( yesterday he was very badly placed also before the last climb to la grand chartreuse but he was able to arrive with purito...)but i do not know if fdj is the right place....
