Awesome. Sometimes pictures and the memories that come with them are better then the race itself.

What's worse is that all these pictures really want me to see the next race.... Too bad it won't start until January...
Allthough I think it's good I'm getting a cycling break right now. Last month I wasn't exactly the most motivated cycling follower.

Similar but this is my favourite one from this year. I realise there's no Andy but there's all the main protagonists of the TDF and on the best stage.

There's one picture predominantly in my head, but I won't post it. I'll post this one instead, so you'll know which one I'm hinting at. It's not a picture I would like to remember as one of the pictures of 2011, but the horrible crash images and the following silence of the commentators are still vivid in my memory. It's one of those images that's part of this past season.

I think the point is that that picture is very much one of the important pictures of 2011, but a picture that none of us would like to see. Likewise, there are photos of Soler on the floor after his crash, but I thought it better to post him after his win in Crans-Montana, because I didn't want to see those pictures again.

On a happier note:

Pure exhaustion, could barely stay on his bike 1 meter after the finish line. Naturally, as he had just finished 2nd on a very hard MTF.

Rujano's heroic effort to stay on this giants wheel.
