Evans can take a minute out of Andy on any decent length TT. I realize that you just cannot bring yourself to admit as much, but reality is a constant.
Oh no I absolutely think Evans can do it.
I even hope so. 100x rather Evans than Schleck. So I don't know what you are on about exaclty.

I just fear that Andy Schleck might do a good ITT this time around

Somebody does. I think AC gives it a go today. Not sure it will win him the Tour, but I would be surprised if he doesn't have a go at the stage.

I think Cuddles is strong enough to cover what he needs to cover. If he still has less than a minute to Schlecklet at the end of today, Andy loses the jersey tomorrow (if they drop Voeckler today...and I will discuss the ramifications of that in the Clinic later).

I reckon Sanchez will have a big go and Condator giving it a go as well. The earlier in the stage the better.

do our dutch posters have any news on Gesink and how he will go today on dutch mountain?

Ruben gave us a lenghty explenation about how he dsoesnt expect anything from Gesink.

Apparently Gesink said he cant do any better than he did on the Galibier and he came 21st or some such there.

Dekker T thinks hes in far more pain than hes letting on.

Anyway, if he didnt ride with the bus yesterday i cant see him doing too well today.

Voeckler didnt do any work because he couldnt.

Even though he was sitting in Cadels wheel the whole time he was still dropped at the end. He lost contacto on the hairpin because he didnt have the energy to follow Cadel through it. Voeckler probably wouldnt have even had the energy to come to the front yet alone pull.

He sure had the energy to attack when he saw his breakmates get hit by a car. **** Tommy Voeckler. He wears yellow because of one day of crashes and sucking wheels he has never been even close to sucking in the past, ever. Biggest farce in a long time.

Yeah, I mean its a bit optimistic to expect Voekler to help as I'm not certain he knew himself how he'd go on the final 5 K or so of the Galibier - The fact that he pretty much blew up on the final K vindicates him from not working.
Maybe so, but he (his team) could have helped reduce the gap when they start heading up to Galibier. Also Rolland could have done more turns in the front...

I agree actually, I expected so much from TV this tour and he attacking on almost every stage like Gilbert. But it's wheelsucking all the way it seems, even Basso has done more in this tour, sadly.

Samu cracked big time yesterday. It wasnt a one off day but rather paying for all the attacking riding hes done this Tour.

Hes spent. I dont see how he can win Alpe. Moreover i dont see why Contador would help him.

Whose we?

Why would anyone rule out Schleck. Hes the second best climber in the world an was 39 seconds ahead of the first, whose tired.

He was 1.30 behind Evans and 3 behind Voeckler, while being a far better climber than both, with 2 major mountain stages left.

Who ruled him out and why?

Contador is way further down and lost time not on a hill + descent but on an actual mountain. He could do well today but he isnt getting back 4 minutes.

A lot of people were "Woooo thats AS finished" when Bertie attacked in the wet.

There is no indication (at least this year and seeing what he did in the TTT) that he will do a good ITT this year.

I have to say you ONE thing. I was really wrong to question Evans. He did an extraordinary performance yesterday. He now has 2 more fans, me and my father, who is absolutly thrilled with this Tour, Evans and Voeckler performances.

Gesink is going to do the same as yesterday, ride with the GC guys and see where he'll end up.

Gesink revealed about 2 days ago that it was the first time he had his back massaged since the crash due to the haemorrhages on his lower back.

There wasn't any indication last year he would do a good ITT...but he did. It will be very tough ffor cadel.

God, I am a nervous wreck!

I am glad. I was very proud of cadel's performance. Even if he doesn't win the tour, I will be very proud of his performance. What you see is what you get. He gives absolutely EVERYTHING!

I fear any will put more time into Cadel today.

I don't really have a preference for either of them after Andys' attack and Cadels' counter, they both deserve it, but I do want it to go down to the TT, even if it's a long shot for one of them.

Andy didn't get dropped by Rolland and Taaramäe

You really have something with Taaramäe, not?

And Alberto was bad, completely broken. Danielson and Zubeldia(?) passed by him in the last kilometre or so. It could be the Giro, but it could also be just a bad day. If it was a bad day, he can have good legs again today.

Actually Tourmalet was an indication that it was going to be closer than people thought between him and Contador.

I don't. I think Cadel puts himself in perfect position to win the tour tomorrow.

I am really wondering why everyone says Andy did a good TT last year. Do they compare it to AC's TT? If they do, they're wrong, because Alberto probably did one of the worst TT's in his life.

And I'm nervous with you! Cadel earned himself a new fan yesterday. He was amazing.
GO CADEL!!!! Beat those Shrek sisters!!!
