It was always a matter of time before Voeckler would drop out. At first everyone loved him because he attacked and then hold on, then the expectations went up and suddenly he was a wheelsucking guy. TV did amazing but now it's up and we all knew it would happen.

Hinsight is 20/20 Evans could have blown himself up chasing Andy and lose the Tour to a counterattack by Contador. It's clear that Contador didn't have the legs for that, but only in hindsight.

That's the point. Andy took a risk, Cadel didn't. That's why I hope Andy wins.

Evans always looks like he is dying. He died all the way up Galibier yesterday and took two minutes out of Andy's lead while riding everyone else off his wheel.
