Its all about how they recover tonight.
Mentally and physically.

I think Evans consistently has more in the tank, went when he needed to, conserved when he needed to.

I think he will be riding with brilliance.

Mentally I think Evans has the advantage tomorrow. He has the better ITT and he took firmly control of today's race. He defended his position very well and the schlecks couldn't shake him

25.09 was the time limit, so Cav will lose another 20 points.

don't know where Rojas was.

Sammy didn't deserve to win. He clearly just became Contador's domestique which is why he attacked Evans after he had done a lot of work to get him within distance.

Podium

Reasonable chance that the podium will be Andy, Cadel, and Contador (in whatever order). These guys really have been the giants of the le tour for the past 5 years!

Interesting for the ITT tomorrow:
"The starting order may be changed
by the stewards committee and the race
management, if the one established by the
reverse order of the general classification
should cause two riders from the same
team to start consecutively. In this event,
the lower ranked of the two must take the
place of the rider who should have preceded
him."
So I think that means Evans gets to start 3 mins back from Andy.

In other news, Garmin-Cervelo leads the teams competition by over 10 minutes.

As constantly mentioned by Phil and Paul for the entire stage.

Does anybody care?

Karma.

Sammy sat on CE for 2 days and attacked him earlier in the stage?

What comes around goes around.

Ehm you might have noticed Samu lost a lot of time yesterday? And even let his teammates work despite him already knowing he had a bad day?

Definitely saw Rojas there, so both deducted. Gary Imlach must be blind.

Rojas and Cav both finish together outside the time limit?

Yes, they both lose 20 points. So nothing really happens. Cav will win the green jersey.

Thats a pity because O`Grady went on record saying they would time out Cav for the Paris finish.

Hate it when a dastardly plan goes awry.

Best of my 36 tours so far.

It's clear that Bernard Hinault runs the presentation show. Tapping the podium girls on the **** when they need to present a lion or a bear or whatnot.

I really don't think Sanchez did anything that only favoured Contador. Everything he did was in his own interest.

So I have to disagree with you here. He let Rolland fool him. Thought he was dead probably.

Gee can go either way tomorrow. Interesting to see what the odds from the bookmakers will be. If Evans loses, he will be this generation's Poulidor.

he gifted the stage to rolland ;)
Gesink somehow finished 45th after being dropped as 90th or something.
Must have ridden a strong last climb because he wasn't in the group Europcar at the bottom.

Was that De Gendt up there? If so, WTF?! ride of the day..

Yep!! What a ride! I would have loved to have seen what he could have done this tour if he hadn't crashed so badly on the first stage. I didn't know he could climb like that at all!:D

Indeed. He wasn't in the peloton when they started the climb. What the hell has he been doing :/

Are you an idiot? Without Samu's move Contador would have won the freaking stage.

He attacked Cuddles for the polkadots and the stage win. By no means was he working for Contador.

He attacked Contador several times, from the front.
Brass Balls Award.
Name all the people who drop Contador on a mountain top finish.

At least the stage wasnt gifted to him the was the jury gave it to Hinault, courtesy of M. Lemond.

He earned it.

I bet he had great confidence in his teams prep then.
