Reminds me of Pantani/Ullrich 1998...

Exactly. Everyone crapping on about Pantani winning. Ullrich lost it. Best rider didn't win that year. Probably going to be the same this year. Will be a disaster if shrek wins it.

in the middle of last night i thought, oh gee, contador could still win. if he had a great day and pulled back two minutes from schleck (assuming he could lose evans). looks like he did find his legs.

sounds like andy's doing well. go andy go!

am really enjoying the posts as we're in a hotel and our versus all pass is not loading! cursed technology! 8 channels of espn and no cycling!

Cadel dropped Brukhardt now he can't even keep up. Makes me feel like the bike problem is figment of his imagination. I could be wrong...just expressing what my gut says.

Cuddles back in the main group. Should let Liqui ride now. Save himself. No way to catch back up on his own.

I sooooo hope Cuddles catches back on somehow.
Reminds me of Vuelta '09.:(

I think Evans is in big trouble. He's used a lot of energy and he's now in the same group as Fränk who's a lot fresher. I think there's going to be a Schleck in yellow tonight. Just not sure which one.

And Voeckler is blowing himself up by not dropping back. He could lose his top 5 spot if he doesn't ease off.
