Guys, this is serious, potentially catastrophic: Petacchi withdraws. I repeat: Petacchi withdraws. Rojas might win - several stages, even. I'll start packing up, and then off to the wilderness it is.

I think he will now be 2nd after cardoso or every stage will be a break

Dude, thats like 33%;)

Maybe in Jonestown they had that, but i cant see how you get 1/3 teenagers trying to commit suicide.

Maybe you mean 3% which would still be very high.

Actually, according to the latest survey (is that the right word?) from 2007, the numbers were:

23% young people from Greenland had attempted sucide.
More than 33% had seriously considered commiting suicide.

No, what you forgot is to express your joy/ dispair/ some sort of emotion that Mollema is in the break.

I told my girlfriend yesterday that a person with the name "Bauke Mollema" existed. Cracked her up as much as when I told her about "Bo Hamburger" for the first time.

That's great, seriously. You only get to do that once. It's like marrying without the possibility of divorce.

* evil laugh*

now cardoso has a chance of actually wining something

btw ryo mental capabilities are almost as important as "body" talent for an athlet. so to me all it sounded like was you saying columbians are a bunch of emo whiners. sorry but thats how i see it.

and happyness is prolly more related to this

Fixed it for you.

Btw does anyone know whats up with Jay Jay? I didnt think he was racing but then Jamsque said he crashed and well, whats going on?

He got catapulted from his bike on a descend and flew against a tree in Dwars voor Vlaanderen.

Mollema on his site said he had not a super day and was disappointed as he'd hoped for more...
It's become a bit of a recurring theme for him... in Paris-Nice he also wasn't at his best on the most important day for GC. It doesn't seem like he's progressed much over the winter, more like the contrary.

Nah not Finland. I would say it's The Netherlands since they have been doing so well at every sport but have only managed to win one 1 major cycling classic in the last 2 decades. And that win wasn't even deserved.

Whoops.

Who will make the first comparison with Belgium?
I'll bite

In Belgium, they consider themselves one of the major nations, but when is the last time a Belgian won the Tour de France, or a grand Tour at all?

Whoops!

:p;)

But Belgians at least win minimum one monument of cycling per year.
Does Belgium even care about TdF ?

I don't know anyone except of JVdb and his fans.

Yeah, I think we do care... We just don't have any serious competitors, so most of us act as if we don't care.

See, if you guys had stayed under your legitimate Spanish rulers everybody would be better off.

Maybe, but all our women would have moustaches. No thanks. :)
