you mean germany right? seems like are the only ones that are still in a "stable" economical situation. still i think we will avoid the FMI(IMF in english?). portugal always manages to do it at the last second. like when we organized the euro 2004 (that many people still say was the best euro/world cup ever) 6 months before the competition the swiss guy from fifa almost aborted the competition in portugal because "nothing was ready". oh well but lets talk about happy things shall we?

As for Portugal, when your 10-year bond yield hits 7.63% (as it has today) you know your country is done for. It's pretty much impossible for a modern country to finance itself when it has to pay over 7% on its debt. You'll see.

As for the Netherlands we're currently fine. We should be since our finance minster looks like Jabba the Hutt's little cousin. Financial markets should know never to cross Jabba de Jager.

I couldn't care less that the Netherlands lost to Portugal. I very much liked that Portuguese team, and was very disappointed when they lost to Greece (both times). I don't say these things because I hate Portugal, the opposite is true.

EURO 2004 was a feast of horrible defensive football. I can barely remember any entertaining match.

Oh come on, Greece was hilarious. I loved the Greece-France game.

On the other hand, I was almost moved to tears when the Czech Republic was kicked out.
