Wiggins arrogant or simply confident with the training he and his boys have put in on Tenerife
No, he just recognises how pathetic the Dauphiné parcours is, and that it's easier and less decisive than his training rides in Tenerife.

It's not great, but still the first I've ever heard that training is going to turn out harder than full on against most of your TDF rivals.

I don't know if you're aware of: Dauphiné is a training stage race [whispering].

Edit: all stages are live on Eurosport Asia and Eurosport Australia btw

I'm just going to watch it on SBS but thx for telling.

@Ferryman: I would laugh if Wiggins got dropped on a climb then.

Stay away from Dauhpine :p UK Postal will control this easily with the team they are sending here.

FROOME Christopher
HAGEN Edvald Boasson
KNEES Christian
PATE Danny
PORTE Richie
ROGERS Michael
SIVTSOV Kanstantsin
WIGGINS Bradley
And by the time of the Dauphinie they will have had 5 one week stage races ( if Rogers presumably wins BR ).

If JROD wins the Giro would he still come here???
Also i shall make a bold early prediction. Zabriskie will beat Martin in one ITT.

I am also expecting Brajkovic to go well here. Bardet shall do what Pinot did last year and confirm his star potential.

Do you really think Martin will beat Wiggo at this (TT)?

Isn't BW already 2-0 this year (Algarve and Romandie was it?) plus Martin just coming back from injury. BW's TTing this year has been special, pretty much unbeaten, albeit never having met Cancellara yet.

At least Tony M. can't win this. Joux-Plane will show us whether Wiggins can win Le Tour or not.

I expect some riders from the giro to be the strongest on the climbs (like jrod and kruijswijk last year). But a good tt'er will win overall like wiggo or evans.

Is this on British eurosport this year??? I fear the coverage may be cut due to dull tennis

Eurosport, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that two "live" clay court matches are better than one. So no live tv coverage in Europe from them until the semis.(Thursday)
Half a tennis audience is better than a whole cycling audience, as far as they are concerned.

Eurosport: The poor man's Rai Sport 2/Sporza.

Anyhow, great to think that after GT disappointment, we have this stinker of a course to feed the need.:(

Wiggins will race to win but with the form of Rogers lately, particularly against the clock, don't be surprised if he or Porte wins.

Sky will win this race. It will either be with Wiggins or with an Australian.

It would make sense. Wiggins will not be 100% and it would be a good result for them before all the work they are going to do during the Tour. Froome might be ready too.

This isn't Algarve or Bayern any more. I can't see Rogers or Porte winning, even on this crappy route, they are simply not good enough climbers to get over Joux Plane with the best.
