I detect an air of disbelief in your post.

movingtarget said:He has a much better chance in 2013 on more mountainous course but then he has to contend with Contador who will be out to prove a point. Once again he should podium but hard to see him winning. I just think the TT situation this year will kill his chances even if he does climb well.
movingtarget said:I have my doubts about him making the podium simply because the TT losses will cancel out any gains he makes in the mountains especially with riders like Wiggins and Evans and maybe Menchov.
guncha said:IMHO, P-N had neither decent amount of flat ITT or mountains. 9km of flat ITT is too less while Mende and Eze are just a medium mountains.
hughmoore said:While i dont disagree, what happens if there is 100km of TT in 2013, Contador is far superior to Shrek in TT, Cadel would then only have to limit his lossess to Shrek.
I aplogise for discussing the Tour, given this is Dauphine thread, but what the hell.

karlboss said:How much time will he lose in the TTs? I figure more than 5 minutes would be disastrous. I can easily see him bringing back at least 2, and 3 minutes from the leader is often on the podium. Personally I think he'll lose more like 4 to the best GC TTer, and make up closer to 3 to finish about a minute down. The only thing stopping Andy getting on the podium again is if another team mate proves stronger.

TdF contenders: Evans, Wiggins, A. Schleck, S. Sanchez, Menchov, Rolland and Nibali are there.
Gloin22 said:I'd add Martin to that imo. With 60km of TT in One Stage Week he will gain a lot on many and shouldnt loose great deal in mountains so I'd say Top 5 is possible ,possibly. Otherwise it's between Evans and Wigins again.

Gloin22 said:How do you know ? Last year Martin just won over 11secs ahead of Wiggo who wasn't risking it as much as Martin, as he had yellow and couldn't afford crashing. That was on a42.5 TT.
This year Martin doesnt have best luck with injuries while Wiggo seems great. I wouldn't be so sure Ryo.
