Short analysis of the situation: leading group with >5 minutes with Lastras, Cataldo, Coppel, two Americans and some smaller names.

Conclusion: Italy, Spain, France and USA won't have to work. Belgium and the Netherlands should have had someone in that leading group. Now they will probably have to work.

Gilbert had a rear puncutre or for whatever reason needed to change his rear wheel. One of his teammates dropped back to pull him back to the peloton, Gilbert drafted the team car and sailed past him and then his teammate was struggling to get a car to draft :eek:
