Yeah thanks for explaining the obvious. It's just very very rare, or actually I think it never happened that somebody warms up for a road stage on the rollers

for ITT ok, normal...but a road stage?

It's very individual I think. Kurt Asle Arvesen for instance would always warm up if he wanted to go in the break.
