Live coverage from 11.00am CET. Six hour live coverage on a stage like this. There will be a lot of zzzzzz...

My greatest problem is, that I can't really sleep on afternoon, but this stage will be a perfect sleeping pill.
I wouldn't be surprised if Cavendish will be in the main peloton before the finish "mountain".

Most of the peloton seem to agree.
Not exactly animated by Tour stage start standards.

Halfway in terms of stages means nothing. There are basically only 2 more stages where the GC could change, then the TT. This Tour is basically over and I think most people realize it.

Unlike you, I'm watching this race for other reasons than the GC as well.

Best placed GC rider is 50 minutes away, they will probably win by 20 minutes or something

LOL. Kern clearly not tired after pulling Rolland over the Madeleine and Croix de Fer, beating up on a load of big names in the process.
Off up the road as soon as they hit the climb.

Costa said that today it took easy as soon as he realized he wouldn't be able to fight for a decent GC position and started to save himself to get into breakaways.

so i will tip him off for tomorrow :p

good to see he still prefers a stage win over a top 20 place

And there goes Costa!

I'm surprised OPQS is not driving the peloton and bringing the break back, this stage is a great chance for Chavanel.

Why on earth does Sky think they have to drive hard on the front already? There are no one remotely close on GC in the break and yet EBH has to drive on the front, bringing down the gap rapidly...

To those that have been criticising my comments from yesterday, I stand by them. I know all the facts, all the details that you don't

Both commentators on the two channels that show the race here are in absolute disgrace for what Radioshack is doing. Dropping riders in the back for pretty much nothing. Got to agree with them. So pathetic.
