yeup. Just watch the last 2 Kms is all anyone needs to do.

I'm a little surprised Farrar is not figuring into the sprints at all.

I think you missed the Garmin guy that fell at the 3k mark? That was Farrar so it isn't very surprising...

Farrar not paying attention to those around him, really. Petacchi (or was it Hondo?) comes over on the left, and he's too busy trying to play games with that Argos-Shimano rider. He refuses to fight for position for about a year, and then when he does, he messes it up.

Great victory by Greipel, Cav playing silly ******s.

Farrar isn't figuring in your sprints because you are only watching the last 2kms.
You need to watch another km or so.;)

Another crash marred finish...
Bike handling skills. Do they learn them anymore? Sprints seem to more and more be a craps shoot with top sprinters out of it because some fool hit the pavement near them.

Holy crap Sagan's handling skills are always crazy, if it wasn't for Farrar's bike completely out of control finishing just ahead of him he wouldn't have crashed...he's just incredibly awesome, never seen such a great rider

Yep. But for some reason I woke up in time to see the whole thing, even though I wanted to sleep in.

Looked like Farrar was trying to put himself into the mix, but ended up putting himself on the deck. Hope he's okay.

Nope, it was about 50 meters before the 3km sign.

Lol. It's going to be really frustating if you lose time because of a crash...50m before the 3k mark.

That should rage Kruijswijk.
Allthough Kruiswijk raging doesn't seem possible.

Yep. If Goss would have waited, I think the Eusketel break rider wins. Might have been more fun, but nice work to the big guy.

Eusketel, really?

Break shouldve stayed together but they didn't believe in it themselves.

Anyway, also without the GreanEdghe rider they would've been caught, Urtasun was wasted.

Lol Dutch commentators tried to identify the Garmin rider that crashed when he crossed the line, came to the conclusion it was Cantwell.

Interesting little statistic - Fabian Cancellara has now had more days in yellow than any other rider never to win the Tour.

To the bold: that's what I thought. When push came to shove, they had plenty of reserves.

it sucks since sagan was going to win this stage pretty easily i guess...if he contested the sprint he was surely going to win no doubt about it

p.s. Mollema seems like a very good rider to get for a tourpoule that counts the first 20 riders for points.

Wether it's a bunchsprint or MTF he's always somewhere in the top 20 :D

How so? Or should that read who?
Maybe a thread on this is needed?

Renshaw caught up again?

It doesn't prevent crashes, probably invites dangerous riding. But let's leave it to another thread if there is demand for it.
