Panda Claws said:Still a good sprint by Boonen. Did anyone see Hushovd ?
will10 said:Steegmans brings Boonen up from 15th position to the front at 600m to go with everyone flat out. Unbelievable

Maaaaaaaarten said:Lol rabo is so crappy at sprints..... Renshaw had to work so hard bashing and positioning his way through a mob of sprinters to even reach fourth position.
El Pistolero said:Instead of all this crap of Renshaw being the best lead-out man, Steegmans impresses me much more.
Good win by Cavendish, he can still win the overall.
Question is whether he should be leading out Boonen or vice versa..will10 said:Today reminded me of the days when he was McEwen's leadout man a few years back, and used to give Robbie a 30 yard headstart on the rest for the sprint, he was astonishing back then
will10 said:Renshaw is way more consistant but on his day Steegmans is incredible.
wirral said:Yes, Farrar absolutely didn't do the business today. I thought he was a slam dunk for at least 3rd place. He just seemed to lack acceleration.
Interesting that Cav seemed to distance himself from "the GC guys" in the interview. Surely he would be second favourite now behind Boonen. He only has 8 seconds to make up.
Steegmans has more power, Renshaw (usually) a better positioning sense (haven't seen any of that so far this year though)El Pistolero said:Instead of all this crap of Renshaw being the best lead-out man, Steegmans impresses me much more.
