The car is allready standing still. YOu can see that the door on the passenger side is opening.

That's not good logic, the number of mechanics we've seen jumping out of cars that're still moving! Menchov @ Giro 09 springs to mind ;)

Looks like someone had a crash.

And I just can't wait!
However I do need to convince my mum that I have something very important to watch tomorrow, as I'm not sure I have Eurosport2 on my own TV...

Is boonen in this? If so then i pick him for the win. If he isn't then I pick Haussler (if he is in it).

Greenedge have plenty of strength and sprint power along with a dream debut into their first season. After watching some of the Aussie favs go around in the TDU we will now get to see a few riders we don't know as much about. Not sure who they will lead out with sprinters in McEwan, Kroupis, Cooke and Davis along with strong men like Tuft and Mouris. Normally I would have said Davis and he did win the Bay Crit series over the New Year in Victoria but as he is a last minute replacement for Docker I think it could be Kroupis with McEwan lurking if needed.

McEwan did ok in some of the TDU stages this year. He usually has a good run at Qatar as well. I wish Howard were here but Davis might pick up a stage win ( as he should be gearing up for M-SR ).

@ Sweede; Boonen is in the race. I think Renshaw and Boonen will have good runs here which will be good.

Radioshack might have to defend a GC lead for Cancellara but will probably alternate between Nizzolo and Wagner. Nizzolo is fast but may not make all stage finishes. Wagner is experienced and can pull a win out of the hat.

It would be so cool to ride with a bike name/ shorts that have your name on it and is internationally recognised as yours. A pity that he crashed.

who's your pick for the first sprint win?
Renshaw, Graeme Brown, Cavendish, Hushovd, Boonen, Chicchi, Sagan, Farrar, Robbie Hunter, Galimzyanov, Robbie Mcewen, Baden Cooke, Allan Davis
or
other.

Last year I think HTC let Goss have some chances, which he capitalized on. No Goss on Sky. So I think Cav. Safe bet huh?

Chicchi or Boonen FTW, I would say Cav but we don't really know where his forms at.

Finish shortly before 4 pm local time, that would be 2 pm CET.

It seems that Eurosport will be broadcasting it live then. Too bad I will leave home @ 13:30 :/
