i wonder what joni brandão will do here, he is most likely preparing for the volta tho

Also broco here instead of andre cardoso, is caja rural planing on sending cardoso to the volta and the much less reliable broco to the vuelta?

Provisional startlists seem to have Caja Rural changing their plan and sending all three Portuguese to La Vuelta.

I suppose the argument in the event that André's going to A Volta and Hernâni to La Vuelta would be that André's a more likely winner of A Volta since Hernâni's shown to lack the recuperation to win the GC in the last two years; therefore having him with a free, stagehunting role at the Vuelta takes the pressure off.

I'm really not sure what the plan is with Caja Rural and their Portuguese. It seems to change day by day.

Still 44" on the peloton, think his legs will explode as soon as he hits the climb though.

Top 10:
1º Dani Moreno (Katusha) 3:03:09
2º Sergio Luis Henao (Sky) m.t.
3º Matti Breschel (Rabobank)
4º Allan Davis (Orica Green Edge)
5º Nacer Bouhanni (FDJ Big Mat)
6º Fabian Taborre (Acqua&Sapone) a 2"
7º Giovanni Visconti (Movistar Team)
8º Franco Pellizotti (Androni Venezuela)
9º Juan Esteban Chaves (Colombia)
10º Danilo Di Luca (Acqua&Sapone)

Agreed, very weird to have OGE sprint train then a bunch of climbers moving to the front, but random sprinters filling 3rd 4th and 5th (with reasonable time gaps to those behind).
