But talking of legends, has anyone seen Dirk Hoffmann and his understated adverts this season? Has the motor homes business been hit too hard in the recession to allow him to take days off to watch races?

yeah, indurain notwithstanding... but imagine how lame it would be if there were 200 chaps in the peloton that know how to respect women.

i dunno, if that's character then we are officially screwed.

Kwiatowski was very impressive.

Here's Kwiatkowski's power data over race video for the last 30km. Always fun to have data for a guy in the mix at key moments in the race. He's popped on the Oude Kwaremont at 18:30 after 5 minutes at 435 watts. Definitely impressive for a 150lb guy at that point in the race.
