How many times did betancur end up being second or third? Damn...

One stage in pais basque (2nd).

FW (2nd or 3th? I think 3th)

And now 2 times 2nd in the giro.

He needs to win a stage in this giro and i'm pretty sure he will btw

Did he ? Have to admit I was concentrating on Nibali and Evans.

Yea 30 seconds later Scarponi dropped if i remember correctly. Actually wiggins dropped before scarponi. Scarponi still hasn't learned his lesson by not going over his limit.

I thought Contador learned him that ;)

Delahaye happened
looks like the training camp worked wonders. Their leader was able to stay within 10 seconds of Wiggins and Scarponi.

I am just hoping they are peaking for the last week... Especially in light of gesink being pretty bad at romandie. (Wishful thinking!)

Kolumbien über Alles

Hahaha, really made me laugh this.

As far as as the stage goes, I was too sad watching my favorite rider of the past 7 years getting destroyed by the 6th-to-last man in the sky train, and ending his GC hopes for good i guess, to really enjoy this, although it was a very good stage.

Bye Samu, thanks for all the entertainment through the years. Get a stage now at least.

For the first time in my life, ill be cheering for Cuddles, although i expect him to fail hard in one of the next mountains, and thus take out the suspense out of this Giro.

good stage!
chapeau to uran and ag2r! rigo was really uber strong but i really doubt he can go like that every day. nibali looks in control
santambrogio you better step up the next few days! killer got to the front just to get tv time. i liked it though :p

i hope sky and ag2r will go as hard as today with every chance they got

I'd like a dollar for every time I have heard the comment "I expect Evans to fail in the mountains." As I recall there was plenty of that in 2011 when he won the Tour.

Thats about the only time he didnt fail in the last 4 years.

I want him to win this whole thing, but i doubt he will.

Thats all.

Don't like hearing it, but he's being honest.

It's bad enough when we see team politics inhibit riders but this is even worse.

In this situation it should be dog eat dog.

people just like saying that, bad day theory for Nibali is also widely spread here.
