Sean Kelly horrified at the thought of abandoning the finish because of a "bit of rain" and that this "isn't a game of tennis" :D

Why is OPQS at the front? No way Cav will contend for the stage.

Was just thinking the same thing. Perhaps they are trying to get the sponsors some tv time or something.

OPQS was also riding two days ago  I don't get them.

Now Cannondale for Moser (?)

They did the same on stage 3 where Cav was dropped like a stone shortly afterwards

1 OPQS guy is sharing the work with an Argos and Greenedge rider. Big deal  pretty standard agreement between sprinter teams.

Agreed, but racing in the middle of a peloton in the rain not so much fun though :(

Naah it could turn into a cross like race. That'd be fun.

Thanks. Anything about how he is?

First he was going to ride in California, but he isn't ready for that. Picardie starts earlier, but I think it's more of a training ride in contrast to California (long travel, some hard stages).

There's also an interview on Sprza.

He said he's doing better, but especially his back and hip are still hurting. In the past he's underestimated the consequences of a crash, he doesn't want to do that this time.

Also he wants to do the Tour of Belgium. But in the interview he said that's going to be his first race probably. So now he's doing Picardie I don't know he will still be doing Belgium.

He says he's unlucky the Worlds are too hard for him. The only races he can win are probably the Eneco Tour and Hamburg. And he wants to be in top form in 2014.

An in-form Boonen is something we need in 2014, along with Phil and Fab at their best to prevent the Saganator taking everything!
