You mean Gesink?roundabout said:A level above the rest on the hills. Will be a boring road race in the worlds.

I think Sagan will get marked out in the worlds. He'll be immensely strong, but he's simply too big of a favourite. There's no way he can do what he did today and guys like Cancellara and Nibali will really make him suffer with repeated attacks.tomorrow said:well, twice I have said that sagan should be able to make it, twice, he has failed, now I kept my mouth shut and it paid off
I hope he can keep his form up to the worlds. They way I see it, Horner will have a big chance, but Sagan and Cancellara will follow. But I still consider these two as underdogs, the amount of climbing is tremendous in the worlds. Let's hope it will be at least as good show as was tonight
There was a headwind on the first climb, and a tailwind on the way back. This has to be taken into account.Dekker_Tifosi said:Meh, still wonder if Gesink didn't do that attack on the flat. But yeah, Sagan looked pretty much indestructable on the 2nd hill

The way he went up the climb today was similar to 2010 and 2011, so I guess that's good news. I don't know what this means regarding his form on long climbs.Dekker_Tifosi said:Anyway, thoughts on Gesink, rediscovered his climbing legs finally? Or juist the anual Americas form he never has in europe for some reason?

Emillia is the perfect hunting ground for him.roundabout said:Gesink can do well in Italian 1-day races in this form.
Use it while it's there and worry about long climbs later.
Probably the latter...but one can always hope.Dekker_Tifosi said:Anyway, thoughts on Gesink, rediscovered his climbing legs finally? Or juist the anual Americas form he never has in europe for some reason?
