Fair enough that Phinney is strong, but a bit strange that not a single rider helps a two time podium finisher who looks strong.

OPQS has someoneinthe front, BMC is trying, i suppose in the next 5 km sth will happen

On Pave/Cobbles,
if you go too slow you suffer
- so you need to go fast
- but in the end that gets to your legs.

Franco Ballarini used to tell me you need to find a feeling for the Pave
- your personal compromise between going too slow and too fast.

He's punctured at least 3 times. Not strange at all in this race. You drop everyone back now to pace him back up, you lose the race.
