According to Ten Dam, Gesink and Weening are still fresh. Mollema feels less good, but hopes to go better later in the race

Fair enough. Although this is still strange. Sagan had no chance to cach Cancellara in RvV. Did he quit?

If Froome felt he had a chance of getting on the podium, I'm sure he'd still be in.

Just got home and saw that the peloton is already pretty small & most of the British have already abandoned.

Anyone have a stream? BBC coverage doesn't start here for another 15 or so.

The French remaining very much under the radar. They will light the blue touch paper at some point (to quote The Great Carlton Kirby).

I'm sure you're aware WC is not a stage race.

Of course. Why am I trying to make some sense of a cyclist who abandons a race because he is to far back? That's why the monuments and the WC RR are men's races and GTs are for babies.

Can you stop with the stupid analogies? Sagan in 2nd position to Cancellara. Froome was in like 80th position with no chance to get back in the PELOTON.

Well, who's fault was it then? Maybe too hard race for him. Nevermind, again he is not the type of rider we should talk about in these types of races. He's a nobody in one day races.
