I wonder if Sky will realize that they have absolutely no incentive to pull back a breakway if the riders in it are far away in GC. The best thing that could happen for them is if a breakaway group takes all the bonus seconds.

Rabo will have to work that's why Bobridge is trying to get in.

Very fast start so far. The breakaway is also quite strong so they will have to be careful to keep them together.

I'd imagine that Radioshack will try the same tactic as last year on Wilunga, ride a super hard pace over the plateau of Wilunga Hill where they can use the crosswinds to split the field.

Lol, with 15 guys within 15 seconds off the lead I think Sky won't get any help at all in the chase ;)

I'm sure when you wake up you'll have a smiley which expresses your contrition rather than your smug incorrectness.

I think people have worked out your best bet is to win by a few seconds on the final climb rathering than using energy at this stage.

Grrrr i just hate Sky, hopefully this means that Radioshack, EE, and Blanco have lots of guys fresh to go crazy on the final ascent.

It was always going to be a lame 1st time over, none of the GC guys were going to commit suicide by going for the win on the first ascent (surprisingly not even Machado, maybe he has learned).
