Looking forward to testing the Syncros Wheels but the price points are pretty much what you would expect.

"Here is the bike to get. SRAM Red is the best. Those clinchers look fast
( although no one has had a chance to test Syncros as a wheel maker )
and the frame looks awesome."

Instead of a shimano 9000 bike? I don thin so lucy....

Damn that blog is painful to read! But if it's true that Scott is dumping Mavic, Zipp, and American Classic for Syncros they've got to be better quality than those three. Makes sense since they own Syncros. Only time will tell.

Sounds like a cost cutting move. Likely they will be worse.

Cost cutting in terms of going with one wheel brand, which they own, instead of three junk dealers. Sure... If their road hubs are going to be anything like their mtn hubs I'm all for it, those were awesome. This is only one element though, have little faith in factory built wheels.

Photo of Leigh Howard prior to the start of Stage 3 at the TOB, show his bike with "Shimano" stickers on his wheels.

Any Eagle Eyed wheelbuilders out there tell if they are in fact "Shimano" wheels or are they SYNCROS wheels with "Shimano" stickers?
