Feeling pretty damn sorry for King. Just to make a ****ty situation worse, his parents came over from America yesterday evening to see their son ride in the tdf for the first time.

Harsh ruling is harsh, although not necessarily unfair :(

well, if he's really injured, I think that this would be good time for exception, certainly better that to make the exception if gruppeto with cav does not make it. The more reason, if it was in TTT.

it is (unfair) because all his times, except the official one, was 3.24, not 3.32 like aso's. btw, he was asking all night @ twitter for some prints with him crossing the line. he's sure he had 3.24. SRM confirmed

I've got a bit of a soft spot for Arashiro too. Ever since that stage where his naive racing helped his breakaway companion win (my memory fails me though as to what year it was, the race or who actually won :D).

So come on Yukiya!

Greatest gt ever stage 5. They had like 2 minutes with 20 to go and maybe 50 seconds with 10 k to go and about 5 s with 1k to go and somehow still stayed away.

even the sprint stages were epic in the 010 giro.

Did it look like Cav tried because he hasn't bothered as much in previous intermediated? Or does he just look bad?

He made an effort but clearly not at his best, feel he may be saving himself at this point.

Didn't look like it to me, seems satisfied to come third in them(for the peloton)

Lotto send a token guy up to help
