Griepel so poor he's hitting Cav's chance at green, getting beaten by Sagan.

Cav trims lead to 35 points.

Will be in green by Friday night if he wins the next two.

Sagan did very well, if the sprint had 15 more meters Sagan would have take it. Quintana looks bad after that fall.

Nah, EBH was holding his own against Sagan, though Cav always had that.

Once again totaly ridiculous that the gc and non sprinters have to be at risk in the finish. If its pan flat they should be aloud to sit up well in advance. Makes me cringe.

I agree. Just f*ck time losses in the last 10km. Let the sprinters do their thing and the 1 or 2 guys that think they can break away in the last km.

He did well to get third, but the only time he closed a bit on Cavendish was when he kicked. Once he was riding in the wind he stopped getting closer.

Another stupid sprint/crash stage. This why the tour is so frustrating - keep the sprinters on the track. who will miss them ?

Agreed. Sagan's always seemed to have a stronger acceleration than sprint.

Hmm apparently quintana is 128 not 122. Don't know if he was involved then.

Bouet and one Sojasun rider seemed to be on the ground for long time after the crash.

Strange crash. FDJ was down on his own for a couple of seconds before Schar clipped him and cue carnage
It appears to me that the FDJ rider ran into the back of the Cavendish's last but one lead out man (who managed to stay upright).

Like it or not sprints and crashes are a part of TdF. There would be no point in leadout trains and jostling for position if everyone not interested in the sprint were allowed to drop back.

I would, don't put the crash on the sprinters, they were all there at the line, GC guys all crashed by themselves BEHIND the bunch of sprinters and wannabe sprinters
