2013 Tour de Qinghai Lake (2.HC, CHN, 7/7-20)

Lazy roll up to 3800m today. The top 15km or so are about 5%, so should be enough to split most of the field.

Got to love race days that don't go below 3000m :D Pretty sure it tops out higher than US Pro challenge despite US pro challenge touting itself the highest pro race in the world.

I couldn't find anything. CyclingIQ said only Stage 7 is streamed.

DDLF won today, good for him. Sounds like a small group went over the top of a climb and managed to hold off the chase by less than a minute.

I was a bit surprised to see De La Fuente winning over Graziato, I thought the italian was kinda fast.

He lost 20 minutes today, I would guess a crash or something but as this race is always at high altitude I would consider also the altitude as a factor if they didnt arrive many days in advance.

Video 2nd stage.

Probably just building form for the Worlds.

Another nice climb today. With a plateau at the top this time I guess a few more will miss the time cut.

1600m climb to 3800m. If the data is right there are a few steeper bits too, and the final 20km averages close to 6%.
