Interesting that Meyer chose to start mid-field.

Meyer 9'39"
Terpstra 9'49"
Haussler 9'53"
Rasmussen 9'54"

Haussler faster than Rasmussen on a flat prologue?

Says more about Alex' form.

Kangert is certainly in form and yet 33 seconds behind after 4 minutes of racing

He was 38 seconds down on the 1st check, it really seeams like the wind is not very consistent.

For ****'s sake, Andy...

Hey he's not much worse than LuisLe

Preparation race, being cautious, having a clinical dislike for TT bikes, he ran out of gas, he had a flat tire, didn't have enough money for the cab fare, his tux didn't come back from the cleaners, an old friend came out of town, someone stole his car, an earthquake, a terrible flood, locusts, the wind, being a Shreck...

there's many more reasons, pick your poison.

The wind is obviously taking a huge toll. Good time trialists in Dumoulin and Kangert losing more than 30 seconds at the first time check...

Yea, wind has definitely changed. No way Verdugo or Hollestain would be in Top 10 if not the changed in wind.

Wind must be pretty weird to have an effect when they essentially start and finish in the same place.

no, it isn't, there is an headwind on the straight/finish straight, which is on an airfield. And they don't profit from the tailwind in the middle part because there are trees, houses and so on
