Boonen was in great position with 1km to go and then 500m later he was all gone

Wow, hmm. So is Kristoff really good or is Sagan not at his supernatural form at the moment?

I'd go for the second because early season Sagan would not have lost that sprint to anyone.

Although obviously Kristoff is really good right now as well, he's really coming into his own.

Sagan seems to have lost some speed with his "new" climbing legs. We saw it in Cali as well. Massive finish by Kristoff though.

How was that a fail by Saxo? Breschel was right in sagan's wheel. I think he started his sprint too early, but good to see him back in shape.

how many wins do katusha have this year? to think they were refused a world tour place...

I don't think that had anything to do with sporting issues.

Sagan was too early in the wind but Kristoff seemed like he was stronger anyway. Man this guy has improved this year. He has always produced the watts (even at 18 y.o he was doing 1700 watts in the sprint), but this year he has really improved his endurance while his positioning has also improved tremendously.
